Intermediate Frontend Developer

About the Role

As an Intermediate Frontend Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining responsive user interfaces for web applications within a dynamic technology team. The position is focused on utilizing modern frontend frameworks and tools to create performant and scalable client-facing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, enhance, and support modern web applications using ReactJS, enhanced JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3, ensuring seamless experiences across devices and browsers.
• Translate UI/UX design prototypes into reliable and well-structured code, developing reusable components.
• Establish seamless connectivity by integrating frontend solutions with backend APIs, managing efficient data communication and client-server workflows.
• Partner with backend engineers to clarify API contracts and streamline data queries, applying knowledge of SQL for crafting and optimizing queries.
• Diagnose and resolve application errors, employing debugging and performance-tuning techniques for continuous quality improvement.
• Engage in code reviews and uphold high standards using version control systems such as Git.
• Provide consultation to stakeholders on issues, propose programming solutions, and help implement user support systems.
• Assess risks and contribute to compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to organizational and legal standards.

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in frontend development, ideally within financial services or a similarly regulated environment.
• Practical background in building scalable web applications at an intermediate level.
• Demonstrated expertise with ReactJS, JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Proficient in SQL for query writing and understanding database performance considerations.
• Experience integrating applications using RESTful APIs and thorough knowledge of client-server models.
• Effective use of Git for collaborative programming.
• General awareness of backend platforms such as .NET Framework/.NET Core.
• Familiarity with WPF and MVVM patterns is desirable.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven abilities in analytical thinking, decision-making, and working under tight timelines or changing project scopes.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $79,320 to $110,680 annually.
