About the Role
Join Aspira Kingsmere Retirement Residence in Alliston as a full-time Housekeeper, committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for senior residents. This permanent position offers an hourly wage of 18.43 CAD and operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. You will engage in meaningful work, not only cleaning but helping to enrich residents' daily lives by providing comfort and dignity.

Responsibilities
As a vital part of our team, you will undertake various cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, and spot cleaning of walls, windows, and doors. You'll be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting resident rooms, bathrooms, furniture, and communal spaces as per schedules and protocols. Attention to detail is essential in preparing rooms for new residents, ensuring they are spotless and inviting. You will work respectfully within occupied spaces, protecting resident privacy and demonstrating professionalism at all times.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience is mandatory
- Legal authorization to work in Canada or possession of a valid work/study permit
- Successful clearance of a Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check
- Ability to perform additional duties as needed with flexibility
- Compassionate attitude, strong dependability, and commitment to enhancing senior quality of life
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
