Role Overview
As a Software Engineer I on the full-stack side, you will take ownership of implementing, improving, and scaling both the public website and internal tools. You will operate with a high level of independence and will be expected to make technical decisions within your team.
What You Will Do
- Build scalable, flexible and high-performance systems quickly and effectively.
- Troubleshoot issues in the public site and internal platforms, with priority guided by customer impact.
- Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders when problems need to be explained or resolved.
- Support experimentation work in an environment where thousands of tests may run concurrently across an advanced A/B testing platform.
- Promote a collaborative mindset and help turn individual ideas into shared team outcomes.
- Support the growth of teammates by mentoring, onboarding and helping colleagues develop professionally.
- Contribute to hiring and team growth through interviews, onboarding and other recruitment activities.
Required Experience and Skills
- At least 2 years of software development experience using server-side languages such as Java, Python or Perl, along with web technologies like Node.js, React, Vue, jQuery, HTML and CSS.
- Experience working with MySQL or a comparable relational database system.
- Prior work on products serving a large customer base is an advantage.
- A self-driven, highly motivated and cooperative approach to teamwork.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong “can do” attitude.
- A university degree in Software Engineering is preferred.
