The Flex is working to make home rental feel as effortless as booking a ride. The company’s goal is to let people live anywhere, at any time, with minimal friction. Using its proprietary Base360.ai platform, it is building a modern renting operating system that automates work, links different systems together, and improves the experience for guests, landlords, and operators around the world.

Role Overview

The company is hiring a Full-Stack Product Engineer who enjoys working across product, engineering, and delivery. This position is for someone who does more than execute assigned tasks; you will help define problems, design solutions, build software, automate processes, and influence the direction of the platform.

What You Will Do

• Take product ideas from early concept through design, development, testing, and launch, with a focus on measurable business outcomes.
• Partner with founders and operations teams to understand pain points and turn them into practical software solutions.
• Deliver quickly, collect feedback, and improve features continuously based on real usage.
• Build automation that reduces manual effort and helps the business scale efficiently.
• Create internal systems such as dashboards, workflow tools, management platforms, and AI-enabled utilities used across the company.
• Develop integrations with external platforms including Airbnb, Stripe, Hostaway, Twilio, Google, and OpenAI.
• Introduce AI-driven features and workflows that improve speed, decision-making, and customer experience.
• Design for reliability, security, and scalability as the platform expands internationally.

Technology Environment

The current stack includes Python, FastAPI, React, TypeScript, Supabase, PostgreSQL, AWS, OpenAI APIs, Stripe, Twilio, and GitHub Actions. You do not need hands-on experience with every tool listed, but you should learn quickly and adapt to new technologies with ease.

What We Are Looking For

• Hands-on experience across the full stack.
• Experience delivering production-ready web applications.
• Solid knowledge of APIs and databases.
• A product-focused mindset with attention to user needs.
• Confidence working independently and taking ownership.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability.
• Clear written communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to FastAPI.
• Experience with React and TypeScript.
• Work on AI tools or LLM-based integrations.
• Startup environment experience.
• Background in PropTech, marketplace, or SaaS products.
