Job description
Role Overview
Join Vista as a Junior Frontend Software Engineer focusing on React technologies. You will collaborate with a skilled engineering team contributing to innovative cinema technology products. Your work will help maintain and enhance Vista's Digital product suite by designing, developing, and improving applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain large-scale interactive, customer-facing React applications for web, mobile, and kiosk platforms.
- Become proficient in React and utilize best practices to create cutting-edge frontend experiences.
- Collaborate on an internal suite of components and tools aimed at accelerating application development.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, training, and solution evaluations to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, CSS/SCSS, HTML, and familiarity with frontend testing frameworks.
- Experience in architecting and building enterprise SaaS applications.
- Mobile development experience supporting React Native and CapacitorJS/Ionic.
- Basic understanding of C# and .NET Core frameworks.
- Knowledge of user experience best practices for both web and mobile.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS and understanding of cloud concepts.
- Awareness of security and performance standards in frontend development.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to develop practical, effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
