Key Responsibilities

• Advocate and implement contemporary DevOps processes to enhance collaboration among development, QA, and operations.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters in both cloud and on-premises infrastructures ensuring scalability and resilience.
• Develop, maintain, and refine continuous integration and delivery pipelines to facilitate reliable and efficient software releases.
• Automate infrastructure setup and configuration using Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code principles.
• Improve platform observability by integrating monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance tuning solutions.
• Administer Linux-based systems focusing on security, uptime, and operational excellence.
• Work closely with engineering teams to resolve production issues, streamline deployment workflows, and enhance infrastructure stability.
• Drive continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure, automation frameworks, and platform performance.

Experience and Skills Required

• Minimum four years of professional experience in a DevOps or related infrastructure automation role.
• At least two years utilizing Configuration as Code tools, especially Ansible.
• Demonstrated expertise in cloud Infrastructure as Code implementations, preferably with AWS and Terraform.
• Strong background in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, particularly using Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and ELK Stack.
• Advanced skills in Linux system administration and deep understanding of networking essentials including routing, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and firewall configuration.
• Proficiency with scripting or programming languages such as Go, Python, or Groovy.
• Solid experience administering Kubernetes; familiarity with on-premises distributions like Rancher is advantageous.
• Experience with VMware vSphere environments is an added benefit.
• Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with effective communication and a cooperative approach within Agile teams.
