Position Overview and Duties
As a Bell Boy, you will warmly welcome and accompany guests during their arrival and departure, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience. Responsibilities include assisting guests with their luggage, maintaining order at the hotel entrance, and offering knowledge about hotel amenities and nearby attractions.
- Greet and escort guests throughout check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage luggage loading and unloading, and safeguard against left-behind items.
- Assist guests to their rooms, arrange baggage placement, and hand over room keys with welcome materials.
- Store luggage securely and provide appropriate claim tickets as needed.
- Facilitate timely guest departures by helping transport luggage.
- Coordinate taxi arrangements and be ready with assistance items like umbrellas.
- Provide prompt, courteous responses to guest inquiries and requests during their stay.
- Deliver messages, mail, and packages, and arrange local transportation and laundry services.
- Maintain the lobby and entrance cleanliness, including upkeep of promotional materials and newspaper stands.
- Report suspicious or unauthorized individuals and alert security to potential issues.
- Contribute actively to guest satisfaction by demonstrating genuine hospitality and teamwork.
- Adhere to all hotel policies, including punctuality, grooming, safety regulations, and communication protocols.
Qualifications
Applicants are expected to have a Diploma in Hotel Management or Front Office.
