API Tester / API Test Automation Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced API Tester / API Test Automation Engineer for a full-time permanent position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in software testing, specifically focusing on API testing and automation.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

• Possess over 6 years of software testing experience, including at least 4 years dedicated to API testing and automation.
• Conduct thorough testing of REST and SOAP APIs to ensure reliability and performance.
• Utilize API automation tools such as Postman and Rest Assured effectively for test automation tasks.
• Perform validation of JSON and XML data formats and analyze API requests and responses.
• Execute SQL queries for database validation to verify data integrity related to API operations.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts relevant to API testing processes.
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues.
