About the internship
This remote part-time internship is focused on generating business through technical bidding for web and app development projects. The selected intern will use the company’s existing marketplace account to craft strong proposals on Upwork and similar platforms, help position technical projects to potential clients, and support deal discussions as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Promote technology projects and prepare persuasive, high-quality bids on Upwork and comparable freelance platforms using the organization’s established account.
- Send at least 100 qualified proposals every month.
- Join a compulsory 1-hour daily Microsoft Teams meeting at a fixed time to coordinate work, review project needs, and get support from the technical backend team.
- Work independently with a flexible schedule outside the daily sync, managing tasks like a self-driven business operator.
- Support the leadership team whenever help is needed for client discussions or closing deals.

Education and other requirements
- A B.E. or B.Tech degree from a reputed institute, preferably in Computer Science or a related branch, is required.
- An MBA with a major or minor in Information Technology is also acceptable.
Stipend and incentive structure
The role offers a monthly stipend of INR 12,500 to 35,001. The compensation structure includes a fixed component of ₹10,000 to ₹10,001 per month plus an incentive component of ₹2,500 to ₹25,000 per month.
Performance-linked payout details
The fixed stipend is intended to cover logistics and Wi-Fi costs and is payable only if the minimum monthly target of 100 proposals is met. In addition, successful bids earn 5% commission on the contract value, with a minimum commission of USD 50 per order. For example, a USD 5,000 project would earn USD 250, while a USD 500 project would still pay the minimum USD 50 commission. Monthly stipend and commission can be paid together in a single payout.
