About the internship
GKDJ & Associates is a mid-sized chartered accountancy firm with roughly 55 to 60 team members and no separate departments. This structure allows article assistants to gain broad, end-to-end exposure across a wide range of professional assignments, including statutory audit, tax audit, internal audit, income tax compliance, assessments, transfer pricing, GST-related work, mergers and acquisitions, FEMA and SEBI compliance, company law and ROC compliance, due diligence, and other allied tasks.
This opportunity is suited for an accounting student who wants practical learning in a busy professional setting. The firm is looking for someone with a solid accounting foundation, strong spoken English, and working knowledge of MS Office.
Role overview
As a CA Articleship intern, you will contribute to day-to-day accounting and assurance work while building practical understanding of client servicing, documentation, reporting, and audit support. The environment is collaborative and designed to help you learn through hands-on involvement.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements and related reports with guidance from senior team members.
- Assist in audit procedures and support financial analysis work.
- Keep accounting records accurate, organized, and updated.
- Interact clearly with clients and internal team members when needed.
- Attend meetings and training sessions to strengthen your professional skills.
- Use MS Office tools for analysis, documentation, and reporting tasks.
