Job Overview

This role involves preparing the dining area prior to service and ensuring it remains orderly, hygienic, and welcoming. The waiter will also be responsible for directly serving patrons as part of their daily duties.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with cleaning the restaurant during the morning hours to ensure a tidy environment.
• Sanitize all service utensils ahead of each dining session.
• Support the captain waiter in setting up the restaurant space for service.
• Maintain personal cleanliness and uphold strict hygiene standards throughout shifts.
• Assist in the mise en place preparations as directed by the captain waiter.
• Transport food items from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently.
• Aid the captain waiter in placing dishes on guests' tables.
• Replace ashtrays and replenish water glasses during guest service.
• Clear and clean tables promptly after guests finish their meals.
• Carry used plates and glassware to the dishwashing station.
• Work cooperatively under the supervision and guidance of the captain waiter, following instructions carefully.
