Job description
Overview
We are seeking an outstanding Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team based in Doha, Qatar. This role demands hands-on involvement in managing production systems, covering areas such as software architecture, development, deployment, and maintenance.
Key Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software development.
- Expertise with over 6 years of hands-on Go (Golang) backend programming.
- Proven ability to build scalable and reliable production-grade backend infrastructures.
- Advanced skills in Next.js, React, and TypeScript for front-end development.
- Experience with Redis for high-performance data management.
- Practical knowledge of containerization technologies, particularly Docker.
- Strong proficiency with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Experienced in designing secure and scalable APIs alongside distributed system architectures.
- Comfortable handling full system lifecycles, from development through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Comprehensive understanding of testing methodologies, monitoring observability, performance tuning, security concerns, and operational practices in production environments.
- Fluency in Arabic communication is mandatory, alongside strong English proficiency.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional engineering teams.
Work Arrangement
- Position is full-time based in Doha, Qatar.
- Hybrid work model allowing remote work with occasional presence required at the Doha office.
- Applicants must hold the legal right to work in Qatar or be eligible to complete necessary sponsorship transfer processes.
Preferred Attributes
Ideal candidates will have significant hands-on experience with the technology stack including Go, Redis, Docker, GCP, AWS, and Next.js. Preference is given to those who have actively built and managed real-world production systems, especially involving AI-enhanced software, SaaS platforms, distributed or real-time applications at scale.
