Role Overview
InvestorFlow is seeking an ambitious and inquisitive Sales Development Representative to become part of our expanding go-to-market team in London. This role places you at the forefront of our expansion efforts by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential clients within private equity, real assets, and private credit sectors. You will collaborate closely with Account Executives and the Marketing team to generate a strong pipeline and present InvestorFlow to firms most in need of our solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate top-of-funnel pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting including cold emails, phone calls, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Qualify inbound leads originating from marketing initiatives, events, and referrals.
- Conduct thorough research on target accounts to understand their organizational structure, fund strategies, team makeup, and potential challenges.
- Create tailored, impactful communications directed at senior-level stakeholders such as Partners, CFOs, COOs, and Investor Relations professionals.
- Schedule introductory meetings for Account Executives, ensuring leads are warm and well-prepared.
- Keep accurate records of activities and pipeline status within Salesforce.
- Collaborate with Marketing to provide campaign feedback, assist in messaging optimizations, and refine account targeting methods.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly key performance indicators related to qualified meetings.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses 1 to 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles.
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft cold emails that prompt responses.
- Keen interest and curiosity about private markets, alternative investments, and the firms operating within these spaces.
- Adaptable to ambiguity with a proactive, builder mentality suited for fast-paced growth environments.
- Highly organized, self-driven, and disciplined in follow-up processes.
- Holds a bachelor’s degree or has an equivalent level of experience.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Prior exposure to SaaS or financial services industries is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or comparable sales enablement tools is a plus.
