Job Responsibilities

• Apply various coatings on hotel interiors including walls, ceilings, and furnishings.
• Prepare surfaces with primers or sealers prior to finishing applications.
• Remove old finishes by methods such as sanding, stripping wallpaper, wire brushing, heat, or blasting.
• Protect surfaces adjacent to painting areas and clearly mark fresh paint with signage.
• Manage cleaning and storage of painting tools, equipment, and materials properly.
• Coordinate with suppliers to modify paint and varnish colors as needed.
• Comply with all company safety policies, report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, and participate in safety training and certifications.
• Maintain professional and tidy personal appearance and uniform.
• Preserve company confidentiality and safeguard company assets.
• Greet guests according to company standards, anticipate and respond to service needs, and assist persons with disabilities.
• Communicate clearly using professional language and support team efforts to meet shared objectives.
• Ensure quality standards and expectations are met consistently.
• Perform physical tasks such as stretching above shoulder height, below knees, climbing ladders, handling objects up to 50 pounds, and standing or walking for extended periods.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Technical, vocational, or trade school certification is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of related work experience is desirable.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific licenses or certifications are mandatory.
