Over-the-Counter Associate

Position Overview

The Over-the-Counter Associate role involves assisting customers with their needs, ensuring their designated area is well-organized, and executing tasks assigned by either the OTC Department Manager or the Pharmacy Manager. The associate is expected to maintain attractive and well-stocked merchandise displays while providing outstanding customer service that aligns with Walmart's core beliefs and values.

Key Duties

• Safeguard patient privacy by adhering strictly to confidentiality standards consistent with the Privacy Act.
• Work alongside the Pharmacy Manager to boost department sales and profitability.
• Regularly rotate inventory and verify expiration dates on products.
• Ensure the department is properly zoned and well maintained.
• Properly handle processes such as ordering, clearances, price adjustments, and labeling.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and clutter-free sales floor free from unnecessary fixtures, debris, or liquids.
• Ensure pricing accuracy to avoid any scanning errors, following the Scanning Credibility Program standards.
• Calibrate equipment used in medication dispensing and prescription filling procedures.

Salary Information

The position offers a starting wage of $17.75 per hour.
