Role Overview
Tesla is hiring a Logistics Analyst focused on rail logistics in Toronto, Canada. This role supports the scale-up of an advanced vehicle distribution network and is centered on moving finished vehicles through the supply chain efficiently and on time. The position calls for someone with strong attention to detail who is comfortable solving large, complex operational challenges.
Clear verbal and written communication is essential, along with a positive, collaborative approach that helps lift the people you work with.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and nurture working relationships across teams to keep operations aligned.
- Review logistics data to spot opportunities to improve network performance.
- Track key performance indicators and share trend updates with leadership on a regular schedule.
- Support accurate shipment ETAs for Tesla vehicles by promoting strong daily process discipline and best practices.
- Reduce exceptions and special cases by improving system design and operational workflows.
- Run meetings with stakeholders to align priorities and drive high performance.
Candidate Profile
- A degree in Supply Chain or comparable practical experience paired with clear evidence of exceptional ability.
- At least 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
- Hands-on comfort with Excel, Tableau, SQL, or similar data visualization tools; experience in vehicle distribution is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
- Highly self-motivated with solid organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both spoken and written.
