Role Overview
We are seeking a Java Developer to design, build, and maintain robust backend services for enterprise applications. The position involves working with systems that demand high reliability, excellent performance, and thoughtful design, collaborating closely with the broader engineering team on architecture and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop backend services using Java and the Spring framework.
- Create RESTful APIs that integrate seamlessly with internal and external systems.
- Enhance service scalability and optimize performance.
- Perform code reviews and actively participate in architectural planning.
- Identify and resolve issues in production environments.
- Collaborate with quality assurance, DevOps, and product teams to ensure smooth delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience in building production-grade Java applications.
- Expertise in Spring Boot and the larger Spring ecosystem.
- Proficient with relational database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Experience with messaging platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ is advantageous.
- Familiarity with cloud environments including AWS, GCP, or Azure, and container technology.
- Strong grasp of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and system design principles.
