Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Java Architect with 10 to 15 years of expertise to join our team in Chennai. This individual will be responsible for designing scalable, high-performing enterprise applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), utilizing Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud-native technologies.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable enterprise-grade applications leveraging Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices frameworks.
- Lead cloud modernization efforts focusing on native GCP solutions.
- Establish architecture standards, define best practices, and create comprehensive technical roadmaps.
- Create and evaluate RESTful APIs, event-driven services, and Kafka-based integrations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions.
- Design and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Enhance application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to development teams.
- Implement CI/CD workflows and promote DevOps practices.
- Conduct architectural and code reviews alongside technical evaluations.
Required Skills and Experience
- 10 to 15 years of professional experience in software development and architecture.
- Proficiency with Java versions 8, 11, and 17.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot framework.
- Strong background in Microservices architecture.
- Working knowledge of React.js.
- Experience with Apache Kafka for event streaming.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services and solutions.
- Expertise in designing RESTful APIs.
- Containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Competence in building CI/CD pipelines and applying DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.

Open to candidates holding any graduate degree.
