Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs including painting, plastering, basic carpentry, tiling, and minor plumbing or electrical troubleshooting.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance inspections in guest rooms and public areas to identify and resolve issues proactively before guest complaints.
• Quickly and courteously address urgent maintenance requests from guests and hotel departments.
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and workspaces are maintained safely and orderly in compliance with workplace health and safety standards.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Demonstrated experience in roles such as handyperson, trade assistant, or building maintenance, preferably within hospitality or residential settings.
• Hands-on proficiency with a broad range of maintenance tasks including painting and minor repairs, and comfortable using various hand and power tools.
• Professional and friendly interaction skills, as the role involves regular presence in guest room environments.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a capacity to independently manage and prioritize a daily maintenance task list.
• Flexibility to work a rotating schedule including weekends and occasional on-call duties for emergencies.
