Role Overview

As a Grocery Clerk, you will professionally and timely perform the full scope of duties associated with this role. Your focus will be on delivering excellent customer service, cultivating customer loyalty, meeting customer needs effectively, and contributing positively to employee and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety guidelines, corporate policies, and related initiatives
• Order, receive, and merchandise stock following company inventory management procedures when required
• Deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customer demands
• Boost store sales by actively promoting highlighted products
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the back shop and retail floor areas as per company standards
• Prepare customer orders as needed
• Handle department shrink processes as required
• Assist in training new or junior staff members
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Candidate Profile

• Capable of working independently in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Physically able to lift up to 20 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks involving bending, lifting, and reaching
