Job description
Job Overview
This role involves maintaining a clean and safe environment specifically tailored for patient areas by executing a range of floor cleaning tasks.
Core Duties
- Perform routine floor care such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, and washing according to supervisor instructions.
- Ensure cleaning equipment is properly cleaned and stored after use.
- Communicate any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
- Follow waste disposal protocols as directed.
- Support the upkeep and correct use of housekeeping tools and machinery.
Required Experience and Qualifications
On-the-job training is provided, enabling candidates without prior experience to develop necessary skills.
Preference given to applicants familiar with cleaning products, techniques, equipment, and healthcare environments.
Completion of high school or equivalent is also preferred.
