Role Overview
We are looking for a junior software developer who is enthusiastic about building a career in technology. The position is designed for recent graduates or early-career candidates who want to develop practical skills in a dynamic engineering environment.
What You’ll Do
- Support the creation, enhancement, and upkeep of software products and related systems.
- Produce clear, efficient, and maintainable code with guidance from more experienced developers.
- Help identify, investigate, and fix software defects and technical issues.
- Take part in code reviews and contribute to collaborative development conversations.
- Assist with building and connecting APIs as well as backend services.
- Work alongside designers, testers, and product teammates to deliver features.
- Perform basic testing tasks and contribute to quality assurance efforts.
- Follow established development practices, coding conventions, and engineering standards.
- Keep technical notes and development records up to date.
- Support releases, deployments, and routine system updates when needed.
- Continue learning new tools, frameworks, and technologies as part of day-to-day work.
What We’re Looking For
- Foundational knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar.
- Basic understanding of software development principles and object-oriented programming.
- Exposure to databases, APIs, and version control tools like Git is beneficial.
- Strong reasoning skills and a structured approach to solving problems.
- Open attitude toward learning and adapting quickly to new technologies.
- Ability to communicate well and work effectively with a team.
- Careful attention to detail and a genuine interest in improving coding ability.
- Academic projects, internships, or independent coding work will be considered an advantage.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
