Role overview
Nord Quantique is hiring an Electronics Physicist to support research and development work in an on-site environment in Sherbrooke, Quebec. This position is based at the physical workplace only, with no remote work option.
Language requirements

A doctorate degree is required.
Experience
Applicants should have 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.

Key responsibilities
- Analyze research data and turn findings into detailed research reports
- Plan and execute research in both experimental and theoretical physics
- Contribute as part of a research or development team to the design and creation of experimental, industrial, or medical equipment, instruments, and procedures
Specialization
The position calls for knowledge in physics, with exposure to areas such as atomic and molecular physics, condensed matter or solid-state physics, optics and laser physics, surface science, electromagnetism, magnetism, and materials. A background listed under chemistry specialization is also noted as physics.
