Data Analyst

Overview

We are searching for a meticulous Data Analyst based onsite in Waltham, Massachusetts, who will translate stakeholder requirements into actionable data-driven solutions. This role involves collaborating closely with technical and business teams to support the implementation of a customer data platform, covering master data management, analytics, and AI functionalities.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and define operational and analytical data needs to aid the deployment of a customer data platform focused on master data management and analytic processes.
• Engage with subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop flow diagrams, sample reports, and criteria for acceptance to guide feature development efforts.
• Conduct exploratory and profiling analyses on source and transformed data to ensure alignment with business workflows and data outputs.
• Communicate results, requirements, and validation efforts effectively to both technical teams and business users; support user acceptance testing, training sessions, and routine agile scrum updates.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of five years of practical experience in authoring and maintaining business and functional requirements documentation.
• Proven experience working in agile environments, particularly using scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence tools.
• Strong background with Master Data Management systems.
• Experience handling utility services data, including data on field processes, connections, and meter readings.
• Expertise in SQL querying and data exploration; hands-on use of Snowflake is mandatory, with PowerBI experience preferred and Reltio knowledge considered advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a STEM field is required along with the ability to commute to the Waltham office.
