Team Overview

The Corporate Services Group liaises with the wider organisation to support EPA's strategic goals through five key functions: Information Management and Technology, People and Capability, Communications and Customer, Finance and Business Services, and Enterprise Projects. The Customer Experience Advisor role is situated within the Customer Experience team under Communications and Customer, focusing on external communications, media, and public engagement.

Position Summary

This full-time position is based at the Wellington office, with some flexibility for remote work but not fully remote. The role involves handling diverse customer inquiries, providing excellent service, and using judgement to assist customers effectively. The Advisor will analyze customer feedback trends, support contact centre operations, and aid in maintaining high service standards. Additionally, the role involves mentoring and escalation point responsibilities within the team.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Experience in customer service or contact centre environments.
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex information clearly and respectfully.
  • Experience with quality assurance, consistency, or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency in using Excel for data analysis; Power BI knowledge is advantageous.
  • The ability to spot customer trends and contribute actionable improvements.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
  • Sound judgement and problem-solving skills to handle complex enquiries and escalate appropriately.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with commitment to excellent customer experiences.

Salary and Application

The salary range is $77,045 to $115,567 annually, with an average midpoint of $96,306. Appointments will typically be made at or below midpoint dependent on skills and experience.
