What the role involves

• Keeping all pub areas clean to a high standard, including customer spaces, toilets, the bar, kitchen, staff areas and outdoor sections.
• Carrying out daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks according to standard procedures.
• Using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
• Checking stock levels of cleaning materials and informing the manager when supplies need replenishing.
• Escalating maintenance concerns and pest-related issues to the manager on duty.
• Greeting customers politely and offering courteous interactions such as saying hello, thank you and goodbye.
• Taking part in induction, job-specific and refresher training, while also helping improve processes over time.
