Role Overview

• Work collaboratively with Frontend Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, and QA teams to deliver cohesive and smooth user experiences.
• Engage in product lifecycle processes, contributing from discovery phases through to deployment.
• Design, develop, and enhance key platform features and APIs; swiftly identify and resolve bugs to maintain industry-leading standards.
• Deliver high-quality, customer-centric software solutions ensuring exceptional product experiences.

Candidate Profile

• Proficient in backend development with strong knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript, plus experience with an additional server-side programming language.
• Advanced expertise in SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL, including query tuning, schema migrations, and data modeling.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns, with experience building and extending class-based systems.
• Experience designing scalable systems that efficiently handle rapid growth and increased load.
• Demonstrated capability to optimize system performance under high-volume transaction scenarios, addressing concurrency, idempotency, and system robustness.
• Skilled in API development with focus on input validation, JWT-based security, and scalable queue-based architectures.
• Minimum of four years as a software engineer.
