Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer experienced in Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and Terraform. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructures and CI/CD pipelines. This role requires strong hands-on skills in Kubernetes administration, containerization, automation, and various AWS cloud services.
Primary Responsibilities
- Crafting scalable, reliable AWS infrastructure tailored to business needs.
- Managing AWS environments using Terraform scripts for Infrastructure as Code.
- Setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters on Amazon EKS.
- Building and refining continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) workflows with DevOps tools.
- Handling containerized applications efficiently using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms to ensure infrastructure health.
- Automating deployment procedures, configuration management, and routine operational tasks.
- Enforcing security, compliance standards, and optimizing costs in cloud environments.
- Collaborating across development, testing, and operations teams to ensure smooth release cycles.
- Investigating and resolving production incidents, performing root cause analyses.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Advanced proficiency with key AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, and Route 53.
- Extensive hands-on experience managing Amazon EKS clusters.
- Expertise in Terraform for automating infrastructure deployment.
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture and practical administrative experience.
- Proficient with Docker and container orchestration technologies.
- Familiarity with popular CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Strong working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
- Expertise in Git version control system.
- Experience with monitoring solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or AWS CloudWatch.
Desirable Skills
- Experience working with Helm Charts and Kubernetes Operators.
- Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible.
- Possession of AWS certifications like AWS Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps Engineer.
- Understanding of security best practices and DevSecOps methodologies.
