Job Summary
The position involves supporting sheetfed printing operations through machine setup, material preparation, and maintenance assistance. The role requires a diploma in Printing Technology and close supervision during tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up sheetfed printing machines according to detailed job specifications, including verifying printing plates, paper dimensions, and ink types.
- Assist with basic calibration procedures on printing equipment under guided supervision.
- Prepare and organize necessary materials such as paper sheets, inks, and plates, ensuring all align with specific job requirements.
- Handle proper storage practices for unused printing consumables in a safe manner.
- Support preventive maintenance of the press and uphold press cleanliness standards.
- Manage paper feeding during printing runs and monitor output quality for misprints or alignment problems.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must possess a Diploma in Printing Technology.
