Role Summary

The Assistant Manager will support the operations of a single store, overseeing associate hiring, management, and direction to meet financial targets and deliver excellent guest experiences. This role includes a minimum of three weeks of paid leadership training designed to prepare candidates for success in store management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily store operations, including hiring and supervision of staff.
  • Guide associates to achieve financial and operational objectives.
  • Ensure a superior guest experience is consistently provided.
  • Participate in leadership and development programs to support continuous growth.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma is mandatory.
  • Food safety certification such as Serve Safe is required.
  • Ability and willingness to relocate within a 50-mile radius of the store.
  • Flexible availability to work various shifts including opening, closing, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in fast-paced, hot, and noisy environments.
  • Effective verbal communication skills and ability to handle changing priorities and conflict resolution.

Work Environment and ADA Considerations

Employees will work in restricted and fast-paced conditions, handling hot and cold foods and using kitchen tools including a Chinese cook knife. Employees are expected to stand for long periods and work under high heat and noise levels. Employees must also be able to lift heavy items and reach across counters.

  • Hourly pay ranging from $23 to $26, dependent on location and experience.
