About the Role

Panda Express is seeking seasoned leaders to join our store management team. We are dedicated to the growth and success of our associates through paid leadership training, mentorship, and continuous support from our community focused on your development.

Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager, you will assist in overseeing operations of a single restaurant location. Your duties include hiring, leading, and directing team members to meet financial targets while ensuring outstanding guest service. Success of the store largely depends on your leadership. To prepare you, we provide a leadership training program lasting at least three weeks.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma
  • Willingness to relocate within 50 miles of home if necessary
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Current Serve Safe food safety certification

Work Environment & Physical Demands

The position involves standing for extended periods and working in hot, confined areas with exposure to steam and food vapors. Tasks include preparing hot and cold dishes, handling kitchen equipment such as Chinese cook knives, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The environment is fast-paced and noisy with limited storage space. Effective communication, adaptability to changing situations, and conflict resolution skills are essential.
