Job Overview
Burjline Builders is looking to hire a committed and skilled Remote HR Manager to join our expanding workforce. This full-time, entirely remote role offers the unique chance to establish and lead our human resources operations from inception. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of HR functions, crafting strategic initiatives, and promoting a workplace culture encouraging both personal and professional advancement. You will play a crucial role in managing the complete employee lifecycle and maintaining streamlined HR operations.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute HR strategies in alignment with broader business objectives.
- Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing onboarding protocols.
- Act as the primary contact for employee relations, promptly and professionally handling concerns, grievances, and requests.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and motivating work environment across a geographically distributed team.
- Administer and optimize a performance appraisal system that promotes high employee performance and development.
- Manage and improve compensation and benefits schemes to maintain competitiveness and fairness.
- Identify training requirements and either develop or source suitable professional development programs.
- Ensure complete compliance with employment laws in the UK and continually update policies and procedures accordingly.
- Safeguard confidential employee records and provide accurate HR reports.
Qualifications
- Proven track record as an HR Manager or in an advanced HR capacity.
- Extensive understanding of UK labor laws and HR best practices.
- Hands-on experience in all HR areas including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and professional development.
- Strong interpersonal skills combined with high emotional intelligence and excellent people management capability.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Outstanding communication and leadership qualities.
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification in HR (e.g., CIPD) is highly preferred.
- Experience working in a remote or technology-centric company is a valuable asset.
