Job description
Overview
Join a reputed New Zealand organisation at the forefront of a significant workforce transformation as the HRIS Project Manager. You will steer the delivery of a critical enterprise HRIS platform, enhancing workforce capability, operational efficiency, and organisational performance across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the complete lifecycle of a major HRIS transformation programme from inception to benefits realisation.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, establish governance frameworks, manage budgets, set timelines, and oversee reporting mechanisms.
- Engage and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders, business leaders, vendors, and project teams.
- Drive organisational change management initiatives, including communication, training, and promoting adoption of the new system.
- Supervise go-live preparation, implementation stages, and provide ongoing post-deployment support.
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Manage risks, resolve issues, track dependencies, and ensure quality outcomes throughout the programme.
Required Skills and Experience
- Demonstrable track record in delivering HRIS, workforce management, or people systems transformation projects.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication aptitude with proven influence across all organisational levels.
- Experience overseeing large-scale transformation programmes or technology implementations.
- Strong skills in governance, planning, budget oversight, and reporting.
