Job Purpose
The role of Executive - Billing involves verifying daily progress, managing progress reporting, and processing invoices to maintain financial accuracy. Responsibilities include preparing detailed invoices, reviewing contract terms for billing precision, ensuring billing system functionality, and resolving any invoice-related queries to support seamless billing operations within the projects vertical.
Primary Responsibilities
- Validate and certify agency invoices based on contract milestones and agreed payment terms, confirming compliance with contractual terms.
- Perform detailed reviews of billing components to ensure accuracy and adherence to contract provisions, facilitating prompt payment processing.
- Accurately enter billing data into financial systems, ensuring correctness of project codes, amounts, and payment conditions for reliable financial records.
- Verify contractor and vendor work completion through cross-checking invoices against supporting documents like work orders and progress reports, coordinating with site teams to confirm reported quantities and work quality.
- Analyze contract provisions related to billing to guarantee invoice alignment with agreed terms and deliverables.
- Maintain and support billing software including troubleshooting issues, conducting updates, and ensuring smooth operational performance of billing systems.
- Address and resolve billing queries efficiently by managing discrepancies, providing clear explanations, and ensuring timely communication for smooth financial transactions.

Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years working experience in billing, invoicing, or finance roles, preferably within construction or infrastructure projects.
- Proficient with construction billing software such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
