Role Responsibilities

• Examine extensive and multifaceted datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
• Craft efficient, optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis tasks.
• Design, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports using the Looker platform.
• Employ Python programming to perform data cleaning, process automation, statistical analyses, and other complex data operations.
• Partner with diverse teams to understand business needs and convert them into effective analytical solutions.
• Track critical business metrics and deliver actionable data-driven recommendations.
• Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting systems.
• Document procedures related to dashboards, data models, and reporting workflows.
• Address ad hoc analytical requests and assist in business performance evaluations.
• Investigate and integrate AI-supported analytics tools to enhance reporting efficiency and insight generation.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in SQL, including mastery of complex queries, joins, aggregations, common table expressions, and query performance tuning.
• Proficient in Python programming for data analysis and automation purposes.
• Practical experience building reports, dashboards, and data models within Looker.
• Familiarity with relational databases and data warehousing solutions.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
• Capability to translate complex business questions into insightful data analyses.

Desired Additional Skills

• Hands-on exposure to Tableau for dashboard creation and visualization best practices.
• Knowledge of AI-powered analytics tools, generative AI-based applications, or AI-enhanced reporting methods.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, or Databricks.
• Understanding of statistical methods and experimental design.
• Experience operating within Agile development environments.
