BIM Modeller

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced BIM Modeller to join our team at Tata Electronics, based in Dholera, Gujarat. The incumbent will play a crucial role in the creation, coordination, and quality assurance of BIM models across various engineering and construction projects, ensuring high design precision and collaboration efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate BIM adoption and implementation within project teams.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
• Develop, update, and manage BIM models to meet project requirements.
• Conduct quality assurance and quality control checks on models to confirm compliance with established standards.
• Perform clash detection activities and maintain detailed issue logs.
• Support and participate in design review and coordination meetings.
• Offer technical support and deliver software training sessions when necessary.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in a BIM Modeller role.
• Proficiency in software tools including Revit, CADWorx, and Civil 3D.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Navisworks Manage software.
• Strong skills in clash detection, model coordination, and QA/QC procedures.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical abilities.
• Competence in Microsoft Excel for generating reports and deliverables.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) project work.
• Familiarity with BIM automation, scripting, or batch programming techniques.
• Experience contributing to BIM coordination meetings.
• Knowledge of current BIM standards and guidelines.
• Experience in providing user training and software support related to BIM tools.
