Position Summary
Working as a Bakery Associate at Walmart Canada offers a valuable opportunity to enhance your retail and customer service skills. You will deliver outstanding service aligned with Walmart's core values, manage and organize the bakery section, assist with stocking, and facilitate merchandise sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the quality and appealing presentation of bakery products such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
- Ensure the bakery area is fully stocked, clean, and ready for customers.
- Properly price and label all merchandise according to company standards.
- Comply with food safety and cold chain policies, including temperature monitoring and product rotation.
- Follow sanitation and cleaning protocols to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Execute correct procedures for ordering, clearance, markdowns, and pricing adjustments.
- Prepare bakery goods by adhering to thawing and baking instructions to guarantee optimal quality and appearance.
- Secure displays safely and correctly to prevent accidents or damage.
Compensation
The starting hourly wage for this role is $16.45 CAD.
