Role Summary
The Assistant Store Manager role offers an energetic individual an opportunity to lead proactively and elevate sales performance by working closely with the Store Manager. This role is ideal for those aiming to grow into leadership roles or launching their automotive retail career, combining hands-on store leadership with sales and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a secure, positive, and efficiently managed store environment
- Boost sales through product promotion, upselling strategies, and meeting sales targets
- Provide expert advice on automotive parts and accessories to customers
- Coach, motivate, and nurture the store team to enhance performance
- Assist with inventory oversight, stock management, and handling deliveries
- Support daily store operations alongside the Store Manager
- Assume full store responsibility during the Store Manager's absence
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in retail management or leadership roles
- Strong customer service skills with a track record in achieving sales and KPIs
- Capability to lead, coach, and inspire a team
- Competence in inventory control and store operational procedures
- Background in retail is essential; automotive industry exposure is a plus but not mandatory
- Positive, proactive mindset with eagerness to learn and develop professionally
