Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Architect to become part of our Construction Supervision team, focusing on the execution of high-rise residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. The role involves ensuring strict adherence to contract documents, specifications, applicable codes, and design intent, while upholding top-tier quality, safety, and workmanship standards throughout construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee architectural activities onsite to confirm compliance with contract drawings, specifications, authority mandates, and approved shop drawings.
- Perform frequent site inspections to assess workmanship quality, materials, finishes, and installation processes.
- Review and provide technical feedback on shop drawings, material selections, mock-ups, method statements, and requests for information (RFIs).
- Track construction progress, identifying potential quality or technical challenges and recommending effective solutions to sustain project momentum.
- Collaborate with structural, MEP, façade, interior design, landscape, and specialized subcontractors to address interface concerns.
- Attend inspections and testing of architectural components to guarantee conformity with project quality plans and inspection/testing protocols.
- Compile detailed site observation reports, document non-conformances, prepare snagging lists, and oversee resolution of outstanding issues.
- Validate completed works for interim payment requests and advise the Resident Engineer accordingly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- Between 7 and 12 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years focused on construction supervision of high-rise and residential building projects.
- Experience with construction supervision in the UAE or GCC region is highly advantageous.
