Role Overview
The Warehouse Operator will play a key role in ensuring all warehouse activities are performed efficiently with a strong focus on safety. The position involves the receipt, handling, storage, issuance, and shipping of materials related to production and shipping.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize warehouse tasks effectively and maintain a clean, orderly workspace.
- Exercise independent decision-making and work proactively.
- Adapt flexibly to operational changes.
- Use computer systems competently to manage warehouse functions.
- Assist in achieving environmental, health, and safety standards by complying with plant and departmental safety policies.
- Ensure timely and accurate receipt of materials.
- Accurately store and control materials physically and through SAP systems.
- Issue materials to manufacturing and packaging departments.
- Manage shipping of products and non-inventory items following standard operating procedures.
- Conduct cycle counts as scheduled.
- Perform all tasks according to departmental SOPs and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient understanding of SAP and warehouse operational processes.
- Familiarity with AbbVie products and workflows is advantageous.
- Previous forklift operation experience is preferred.
Work Schedule
This is a night shift role with working hours from Monday to Thursday 00:00 to 08:00 and Friday 19:30 to 02:30.
