Site Supervisor - Structural Work

Overview

The Site Supervisor for Structural Work will be directly responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of structural construction at the assigned project location. This includes ensuring that all tasks align with approved structural drawings and quality standards, maintaining safety compliance, and facilitating efficient resource and manpower utilization to meet project timelines.

Key Duties

• Oversee daily structural construction activities on-site, including foundations, RCC, steel structures, fabrication, erection, and installation.
• Ensure execution aligns precisely with approved project drawings, specifications, and requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with contractors, vendors, and labor teams to streamline operations.
• Maintain comprehensive site progress documentation and submit regular daily reports.
• Perform verification of measurements and material quantities utilized in construction work.
• Implement strict quality control measures throughout construction processes.
• Uphold and enforce site safety protocols, ensure proper use of personal protective equipment, and monitor adherence to safety regulations.
• Conduct inspections to detect any structural deviations or technical concerns and report findings.
• Manage site workforce allocation and duties to optimize productivity.
• Coordinate timely delivery of materials and ensure all necessary construction resources are available.
• Participate in project review meetings to provide updates on status and progress.
• Ensure tasks complete within projected schedules.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplines.
• Between 3 to 5 years of proven experience supervising structural construction projects.
• Preferably experienced with steel structures, RCC, industrial frameworks, hoardings, unipoles, or infrastructure construction.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret structural drawings and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, quality assurance procedures, and safety standards.
• Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word, and general project reporting tools.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with exposure to the outdoor advertising sector, specifically in erecting and maintaining hoardings, unipoles, gantries, and steel advertising structures, are preferred. Familiarity with foundation works, fabrication processes, welding, and structural safety inspections is advantageous.

• Possession of a smartphone and a two-wheeler vehicle is mandatory.
• Fuel costs for the two-wheeler will be reimbursed separately.
