Server Administrator

Job Summary

We are looking for a Server Administrator who can oversee, secure, and fine-tune server environments so enterprise digital services remain dependable, available, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and support Windows and Linux servers throughout their lifecycle.
• Track server uptime, performance, and overall system condition.
• Oversee backup processes, disaster recovery readiness, and continuity planning.
• Apply security measures, patching routines, and access-control practices.
• Administer virtualized environments and storage platforms.
• Provide support for both cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and close infrastructure incidents and service interruptions.
• Keep infrastructure records, operating guides, and documentation up to date.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments.
• Working knowledge of Linux server administration.
• Understanding of Active Directory and identity management.
• Exposure to VMware, Hyper-V, or similar virtualization tools.
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery methods.
• Ability to monitor servers and improve performance.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of infrastructure security and hardening techniques.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in server administration.
