Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Riyadh team on a full-time, on-site basis. This position focuses on the design, development, and upkeep of scalable back-end infrastructures that support AI-powered and integrated software solutions. Responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and testable code, reviewing colleagues' code, and ensuring quality through automated tests and thorough documentation. Collaboration with product managers, architects, and fellow engineers to specify technical requirements and translate business goals into robust software is essential. The role also demands optimizing system performance and reliability.

Candidate Profile

• Strong fundamentals in computer science including algorithms, data structures, and architectural principles.
• Proven experience in modern software development and programming.
• Expertise in backend web systems such as REST APIs, microservices, and database connectivity.
• Deep understanding and application of Object-Oriented Programming in complex systems.
• Experience with AI-powered solutions, systems integration, and working with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies, continuous integration and delivery pipelines, container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and system performance optimization.
• Skilled at writing maintainable code, performing code reviews, and upholding software quality standards.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities, effective communicator, and team collaborator.
• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent practical background.
• Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical strategies is a plus.
