Everlast Gyms is seeking a part-time Sales Host to join its Poole location. This position is scheduled for 20 hours per week. Role summary
The Sales Host plays a key part in improving membership growth, retention, and overall member experience. The role combines sales, customer engagement, club presentation, and occasional operational support. Every interaction with a prospect, member, or guest should be used to create value, support conversion, and strengthen loyalty.
Key duties
- Create a welcoming and high-quality experience for prospects, members, and guests, while using each interaction as a chance to support sales and retention.
- Actively pursue membership sales, renewals, upgrades, and additional revenue through food and beverage, retail, and fitness product offerings.
- Turn enquiries into memberships through confident handling of objections, consultative selling, and timely follow-up.
- Help retain members by building strong relationships, spotting members at risk of leaving, and suggesting suitable products and services that improve their results and experience.
- Lead personalised gym tours aligned to each person’s goals, and recommend relevant facilities and services to encourage upgrades or sign-ups.
- Work toward, and aim to exceed, individual and club performance targets.
- Carry out key-holder responsibilities when needed, including opening, closing, and shift-cover support.
- Use the membership software and related systems effectively after training.
- Represent the brand in fitness challenges, class concepts, and Workout Wednesday activities to support engagement.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and strong gym-floor presentation so the club always meets a high standard.
- Support the Head Coach with gym resets and other ad hoc fitness-related tasks on and off the gym floor.
- Stay well informed about the club’s products and services.
- Manage member questions and complaints in a professional manner, escalating to management where necessary.
