The company provides a supportive environment including a company-owned van with gas card, a back office to manage scheduling, and technology support with tools such as an iPad and Service Titan software. Working hours cover weekdays only, no nights or weekends, providing work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform various small to medium maintenance and repair tasks for residential and commercial properties, with project durations ranging from two hours up to two days.
• Communicate with customers to explain needed repairs and manage their expectations about project scope and costs.
• Deliver outstanding customer experience following a standardized process to encourage repeat business and life-long customers.

Performance Metrics

• Maintain high customer satisfaction scores via feedback surveys post-service.
• Achieve revenue targets by identifying and providing additional services to clients.
• Ensure accurate invoicing, material sourcing, and prompt payment collection.
• Guarantee workmanship quality with minimal recall repairs within a one-year warranty period.

Candidate Profile

• Self-driven and capable of working independently when alone on jobs.
• Strong customer service skills, including communication, collecting reviews, and payment handling.
• Possess and use necessary hand tools and technology proficiently.
• Follow established company procedures closely, documenting work according to the "Mr. Handyman Way."

Minimum Qualifications

• Residence within the service territory.
• A minimum of 8 years experience working professionally as a handyman.
• Ownership of personal tools.
• Must be insurable to drive the company vehicle and pass background and driving record checks.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently.
• Capacity to work safely at heights and overhead for extended durations.
• Maintain professional appearance and responsibly care for the company-provided vehicle.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in at least three of the following areas: carpentry, bathroom and kitchen improvements, interior and exterior painting, drywall repairs, basic plumbing and electrical (within legal limits), and floor installation/refurbishment.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay ranging from $30 to $40, based on professional experience across relevant handyman skills.
