Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-focused Merchandiser to collaborate closely with customers, craft compelling product displays, and drive sales growth. Key Responsibilities

• Advance promotion of Hager’s electrical products in wholesaler branches to boost sales.
• Oversee inventory management by performing stock assessments and replenishing supplies as needed.
• Create and maintain visually attractive product displays optimized for enhancing visibility and sales impact.
• Foster strong partnerships with branch personnel to encourage sustained cooperation and improved performance.
• Engage actively in company and wholesaler promotional events and campaigns.
• Keep comprehensive and accurate documentation of stock levels and merchandising activities.
• Continuously update product expertise and stay informed about new offerings.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in merchandising, sales, or within the electrical or wholesale sectors is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.
• Proactive and hands-on with meticulous attention to detail.
• Capability to operate independently and effectively manage a specified sales territory.
• Comfortable with computers and basic software applications; intermediate proficiency preferred.
• Eager to expand product knowledge.
• Possession of a full driver’s licence and willingness to travel across the designated territory.

Additional Information

This role reports directly to the State Manager and covers the southern Sydney Metro, South Coast, and Canberra regions. The company will provide a fully maintained vehicle to facilitate daily responsibilities.
