Local CDL Class B Route Driver

About the Role

We are actively seeking a Local CDL Class B Route Driver to join a growing company that handles well-known retail brands like Red Baron®, Tony's®, Freschetta® pizzas, Mrs. Smith's® and Edwards® desserts, bibigo® and Pagoda® Asian snacks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to build your career while working with established products.

• Work schedule primarily Monday through Friday, occasionally including Saturdays, with early morning shifts

Responsibilities

• Execute the assigned local daily delivery route to fulfill service commitments
• Unload products, place them in back rooms, and gather delivery confirmations
• Utilize handheld technology to manage daily tasks efficiently
• Develop positive relationships in-store and collaborate effectively with team members in a dynamic environment
• Follow Department of Transportation rules, regulations, and conduct routine vehicle inspections

Qualifications

• Previous experience in delivery, grocery, or warehouse operations is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent credential required
• Valid Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement and compliance with medical certification standards; minimum age of 21 years
• Capability to safely lift up to 35 pounds and move frozen goods using proper equipment
• Must pass pre-employment background check, drug screening, and DOT physical examination
