Role Overview
The Installer Network Coordinator will oversee and streamline Powerfleet’s subcontracted installer network in designated regions. This role serves as the critical operational liaison between the company and installers, ensuring installations are scheduled, executed, and finalized efficiently, safely, and according to client expectations and company protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate, assign, and track installation work orders via systems such as FCIP and Synchroteam.
- Monitor installation progress from initiation to completion with full transparency on active tasks.
- Manage installer allocations to meet customer timelines and business priorities.
- Address scheduling conflicts, delays, and operational challenges to ensure service consistency.
- Act as primary contact for subcontracted installers, nurturing effective relationships to foster accountability and service excellence.
- Align installer capacity and regional coverage with business demand and project needs.
- Conduct audits and maintain a preferred installer list per region, ensuring compliance with certifications, insurance, and safety standards.
- Promote strict adherence to installation protocols, operational procedures, and occupational health and safety guidelines.
- Serve as escalation point for operational issues, collaborating with teams and installers to resolve problems promptly and minimize customer impact.
- Document completed installations accurately in operational tools to support invoicing and billing accuracy.
- Track, analyze, and report on installer utilization, work order activity, service levels, and network performance.
- Recommend and implement continuous process improvements to optimize service delivery and enhance installer and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in coordinating field service operations, installation scheduling, or managing subcontractor networks.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills suitable for fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with work order management and scheduling software tools.
- Skill in balancing competing priorities and resolving operational issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and relationship management capabilities.
- Detail-driven with solid administrative and reporting skills.
- Experience in telematics, field services, logistics, automotive, or technical installations is advantageous.
