This General Manager position is with a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee licensed by McDonald’s, not directly by McDonald’s USA. Employment decisions, supervision, and all staffing matters are handled strictly by the franchisee, which is your sole employer.

The General Manager is a pivotal role accountable for running a profitable restaurant that consistently meets McDonald’s high standards for quality, service, and cleanliness. Your leadership will be critical in setting and achieving goals that ensure success.
Responsibilities and Leadership
You will lead a team of Department Managers, empowering them to establish and realize their departmental goals. Providing ongoing coaching, performance follow-up, and encouragement is key to enhancing overall restaurant operations. Recruiting and nurturing talented Department and Shift Managers to build a capable leadership team ready for future challenges also falls under your remit.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates possess prior experience as a General Manager, especially in high-volume locations, preferably within quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail sectors. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to manage at corporate-run sites.
Compensation and Employee Benefits
- Annual salary range of $50,000 to $65,000
- Two weeks of paid vacation annually
