This role suits individuals who enjoy working flexibly around their schedules, including retired educators, daycare workers, babysitters, or church nursery volunteers seeking a nurturing environment smaller than a traditional classroom. The position offers the chance to care for children from infants up to toddlers, with a focus on children under two years old.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive in-home child care without the requirement to transport children.
  • Perform minimal household tasks limited to tidying up after activities or meals associated with child care.
  • Engage children with age-appropriate, hands-on activities designed to promote development and safety based on your observations.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly pay ranging from $23 to $26.50.
  • Paid training and a complimentary nanny kit featuring age-suitable activities and games to use during assignments.
  • Possibilities for career growth in childcare, including priority placement for consistent nanny positions both part-time and full-time.
  • Paid sick leave applicable for both part-time and full-time schedules.
  • Additional benefits for full-time employees, including a medical stipend, paid vacation, paid holidays, student loan repayment matching, or retirement savings matching programs.
  • Mileage reimbursements, bonus opportunities for outstanding feedback, and participation in supportive events and contests.
  • Employment under W-2 status ensuring unemployment insurance and a valuable resume-building experience.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Experience working with children from infancy, either paid or volunteer, is mandatory.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to various family homes within the service area.
  • Availability for at least three weekdays with 6 to 8-hour shifts scheduled between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
  • Strong communication skills and responsiveness to the staffing supervisor, along with a positive and friendly demeanor toward families.
